Work Week 2008
Friday 13 June 2008 marked the end of Work Week. A dedicated team had worked industriously over the five days to freshen up the church premises. The Church and grounds are both looking resplendent. We give thanks for the hard work of all those involved and for the first rate baking which sustained them. Floors have been washed and polished so that they have become like mirrors.
The most obvious of the many changes is that the vestibule nearest the office has been redecorated and a new centre piece light has been installed in its ceiling.
One person who had not seen or realised the scale and ambition of the work being done until today has already requested being added to the list of volunteers for next year.
We are also extremely grateful to the Gardening Team who have been working steadily over several months to produce a most pleasing, effect, particularly on the lawn edges.
